A start line picture of a variety of athletes with and without disabilities starting a road race.
The image captures a race bib pickup station at an outdoor event. Two volunteers in matching blue "2024 Unified 5K" t-shirts are assisting a participant, who is dressed in athletic attire and wearing a cap. One volunteer is using a tablet, likely to check in participants, while the other is handing out race materials. A sign reading "Bib Pickup A-L" is attached to the table, which is covered with boxes, papers, and supplies. Behind the volunteers, other event staff and attendees are visible, some wearing hats and sunglasses. A black case labeled "The Last Mile Racing" is on the ground, possibly containing timing equipment. The setting is a sunny outdoor space, possibly a park or race venue, with a fenced grassy area and trees in the background. The scene highlights the organized and welcoming atmosphere of a community fitness event.

Community Impact

A male runner with a prosthetic blade on his right leg is mid-stride on a paved path, illuminated by the golden light of the setting sun. He wears a white t-shirt, brown shorts, a black cap, and running shoes, with his arms pumping in rhythm. The background features an open grassy field, a soccer goal, and distant trees, with warm sunlight streaming through the scene.

Racing Chair Donation

At each race we’ll be donating a Hoyt Running chair, Handcycle, or Push-rim Wheelchair

A diverse group of athletes, including wheelchair racers and handcyclists, lines up at the starting line of a race, with a large crowd of runners and spectators behind them. In the foreground, three adaptive athletes are focused and ready: one using a handcycle, another in a racing wheelchair wearing an orange helmet, and a third in a green wheelchair wearing a beanie and gloves. The background features runners in colorful athletic gear, many wearing race bibs, some clapping or cheering. The scene is energetic and inclusive, with a mix of athletes of different abilities preparing for the race.
The image shows a personal trainer assisting an older man in a power wheelchair during a workout session at a gym. The trainer, wearing a black "adaptX" cap and t-shirt with the tagline "Making Fitness Accessible," is attentively guiding the man through an exercise using a resistance band. The older man is dressed in a navy blue tracksuit and sneakers, actively engaging in the movement. The gym is equipped with weight racks, barbells, and other fitness equipment, with a turf area for adaptive training. The walls are decorated with framed athletic memorabilia, creating an inclusive and motivational training environment.
