Donor Advised Funds
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account, typically set up through a community foundation or financial institution’s charitable arm, that allows individuals to make a donation, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to various charities over time. The account gives donors the flexibility to distribute grants to their chosen causes over time at their own pace.
