A Regional Charity Partner for the 2025 Unified 5k

The mission of AdaptX is to address barriers to fitness and physical activity for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. We do so through education, research, advocacy, and opportunity. The 2025 Unified 5k series is one of those opportunities.

We are grateful for our partnership with the Utah Parent Center (UPC) and are thrilled to offer free registration to the 2025 Unified 5k Salt Lake City for any adaptive athlete that participates in UPC programs.

In line with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the ADA, we believe that a guide or support runner that is necessary for an individual with a disability to safely and successfully complete a race, is considered a reasonable accommodation. As a result, anyone who would help you complete the race may also register for free and can use the links below to do so.

These events are our organization’s primary fundraising source, so if you’d like to support the work that we do at AdaptX, you can select the traditional registration option or make a donation at checkout. Thank you for supporting our mission to make fitness and physical activity accessible.

Join us in Salt Lake City at Liberty Park on May 17th!
