Blade Donation

Thanks to our partnership with Less Leg More Heart, we will be donating a running blade to an amputee at our Unified 5k Dexter. Click the button below if you are interested in applying to be the recipient.

Racing Chair Donation

Our goal is to donate a Hoyt Running Chair or handcycle at as many races as possible. If you are interested in receiving one of these pieces of equipment, click the button below to fill out an application and check out the story by CBS, highlighting our chair donation at our Unified 5k Twin Cities event.

Meet the Team

Brian Elliot

Race Director
Brian Elliot graduated from Central Michigan University in 2014 with a Masters Degree in Sports Administration. He is currently the Community Program Coordinator at the University of Michigan, working with their Adaptive Sports and Fitness team.

Brendan Aylward

Race Director
Brendan Aylward’s career has revolved around making fitness and physical activity accessible for people with disabilities. He is the owner of Unified Health and Performance, Executive Director of AdaptX, and a member of Team Hoyt New England, completing more than 100 races together with his friend, Jacob. He hosted the first Unified 5k in 2019 and is now working on scaling the event to communities around the country to make endurance sports accessible.
